This book is very informative and provides intelligent answers in apologetics, though not exhaustive, it answers 130 frequently asked questions about Christian faith in a concise manner and demonstrates "faith" is not "check your brains at the door" it is written to make the reader think not only about what you believe, but why you believe with intelligent answers. (You do not have to read the topics in strict chronological order)The questions are answered by some of the best Christian thinkers today, it will prep the reader to answer the objections of skeptics, opposing worldviews and boost confidence in those who hold a God centered worldview. I recommend this book to all thinking Christians everywhere

Solid writing

I received this book in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Lacey is working her way through graduate school by working at The Brothel. She loves sex and is happy doing her work.

These are little vignettes of Lacey with her customers. There is no overarching storyline pulling the stories together. I like Lacey's openness of her sexuality.

The writing is solid and clean. The short sentences give the sensation of hotness and Lacey's desire for sex. It got repetitive at the end of each story with Lacey telling the reader she loves sex.

This was one HOT read! Lacey is one interesting character. This book is a little longer than V's other ones, but I sure didn't notice the time going by. This reads like a glimpse into Lacey's life via a diary or journal, even though it is not her diary/journal. I can't go into much detail, but I took a few breather breaks while reading.

Absolutely Necessary for a Top Score

I purchased this book two weeks before my exam and subsequently scored a 750 (50Q/41V). I used the Kaplan Premiere and Kaplan 800 books for the initial portion of my study, as well as the GMAT Verbal and GMAT Quant Review books. While these books helped me get used to the format of the exam and even prepared me for difficult verbal questions, I found them to be too easy in the math sections. Even the Kaplan 800 was a breeze -- I could complete the entire book without missing a single quant question. The Manhattan GMAT Quant review, on the other hand, was a great challenge. The problems were thought provoking and significantly different from anything I had seen in my other books. If I had not completed this book before the exam, I would have been stumped on many of the more difficult quant questions and unable to solve them in under 2 mins. This book is an absolute MUST for anyone aiming for the 750-800 range.

Absolutely necessary for those last few points!

I was scoring consistently around a 45 on the Quant section, but after a couple of months, I felt like I was hitting a wall and couldn't boost my score any further. Having finished all the regular Quant strategy guides' practice problems, I wasn't sure where else I could turn for additional solid help. Then I found out about the MGMAT Advanced Quant strategy guide. This book's drill sections and concept reviews really hit the spot (though I only got through 3 of the 15 before my GMAT) and helped me improve my score by an extra 4 points on the real GMAT. I completely recommend this book for anyone who's doing relatively well on Quant, but wants that extra leg up to tip the scales.

Boost your quant score - best

If you are in 42-46 range in quants and wanted to crack above 48 , then this book is for you. Nice insights into strategies on how to approach a problem. The question set is the best . They have provided 150 hard and tricky question to train you. These questions can be solved in regular way which is going to take more time. But eventually its you who have to assimilate and apply those strategies to increase your speed in solving problems.

If you haven't read manhattan gmat series, then you might find it little difficult to correlate at times.

Overall truly a great book.

I would have loved it if Manhattan had provided these 150 questions online , so that you can track your time. sigh!!

Excellent account of historical processes

On the contrary to the person who blamed the biased narrative of the book, I consider it to be helpfull in so far as this is a coherent narrative regarding the geo-political re-articulation of the classical American Exceptionalism in the post-Cold-War period. It is true that sometimes the book is schematic and resembles Galeano's famous anti-imperialist book, Las venas abiertas de América Latina, but it is due to the very historical nature of the American foreign policy in the region. Moreover, the book is important for its attempt to deal with the very condition of political power and hegemony (rather than the too abstract notion of Empire or imperialism) in the context opened up by the September 11 attacks and followed, as well as confirmed, by Abu Ghraib and Guantánamo.

The author is highly biased against the USA and, at times, comes off as very smug. This is really a piece of polemic, not any kind of serious historical or journalistic writing. It cannot be recommended to anyone doing actual research on the matter of US/Latin American policy research.

For a person that doesn't like to read

WHAT MAKES YOUR BABY LEAP?!! That's the chapter (4) that jumped out at me when I first started browsing through the topics. I immediately began to read. I was so excited, finally, the book I had been waiting for....knowing you have a vision and a purpose but wondering what steps to take to move to the next level?!! Here I had been given a clear, concise 'how to' guide on how to achieve that success in this small book filled with a wealth of "heavenly" knowledge writen by this anointed woman of God, Katrina Wallace. Before I could finish reading the book my son came in, saw the title and asked to see it...I never got it back!!! For a person that doesn't like to read, he devoured it like a hungry person that hadn't eaten for days!!! He didn't put the book down until he had read it from cover to cover!!! He highlighted the entire book. I have never seen him so excited about reading anything....needless to say I never got my book back, I had to purchase another one for myself and have since then purchased more for my friends and loved ones...everyone with a dream/vision needs to have this book in their possession!!!

Katrina's book gave me life!!! Have you ever gotten to a point in your life where you felt like your vision for your life wasn't going to be and so you accepted it as "it is what it is"! This book is for you! She lays before you the steps required in order to close the gap and achieve ones' vision. The chapter entitled, "God will Shut you up," was written exactly for me. Thank you Katrina for writing this book. It put me back in touch with my purpose. Nothing like sitting on the beach beholding the beauty of God with this book in hand. Job Well Done!
